New orleans, Louisiana

  • New Orleans, Louisiana (map)

As a creole with deep southern roots it’s always been a dream of mine to visit the historically rich and beautiful city of New Orleans. Having grown up amongst the mountains and forests deep within the Pacific Northwest I’ve yet to discover the beauty of the Bayou. The closest taste I’ve come to the sweet state was eating a bowl of Gumbo cooked by my southern family or by frequenting my favorite restaurant in Seattle by the name of Toulouse Petit. I’m most excited to try the food as a self admitted foodie obsessed with seafood boils, beignets and Cajun cuisine. I’d hope to enjoy the nightlife of the French Quarter by visiting historical and current red lights districts as a homage to the sex workers both past and present who make such destinations rich in experience. Local legend and Madam Lulu White of Storyville who once owned and operated the Mahogany Hall has been a significant person of interest I’ve researched over the years. Join me in celebrating the rich culture and history of creoles in New Orleans by booking your favorite charming coquette!
